Rob was one of the first westerners to work at TSMC’s southern Taiwan fabs - starting there six years before TSMC would announce plans for their Arizona expansions. After leaving TSMC, he worked on novel electronic materials and processes across the greater Asia region in China, Japan, and Korea - covering everything from display components to advanced sensors for the world’s most advanced devices. Since 2024 he has been providing technical consulting for non-engineers to better understand the electronics industry.
